Chrysler Gets Smartphone Apps

No more fishing through the owner’s manual when you want to learn more about your new Chrysler. The auto manufacturer has released its first smartphone vehicle information app for the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It’s just the first in a new series of smartphone apps will let you click, scroll or touch your way through a digital rendition of the owner’s manual. Negotiations between the companies could see the search giant’s Smartphone OS used for future versions of GM’s OnStar telematics system.
